Trace Clubhouse "...social hub of the community"
A NEW Clubhouse is being built, with a completion date in late fall of 2009!
Two new facilities are being built (phase 1 and 2) to makeup what Tracers fondly call the social hub of the community. An approximately 22,000 square-foot facility featuring stunning views of Lake Trace and one of the two golf courses, immersed in a serene setting of mature hardwoods and piney forest, is expected to be completed in late 2009. An additional approximately 3,000 square-foot facility will be built first (phase 1). Phase 1 will serve as a temporary dining facility and social center, and then to house other long-term purposes once the main clubhouse is completed. When both phases are completed the Clubhouse will approximately be a 25,000 square-foot facility.
The Clubhouse will include several indoor and outdoor dining areas, a bar and grill, meeting rooms, full-service Pro Shop and equipment repair, locker rooms, and exercise rooms.
Until the Clubhouse is completed, we are offering reduced initiation fees for all membership categories--so join while the fees are low! Visit our "Join the Club" web page to request membership information or Click here to Email your request.
The Club's management team, with more than 100 years of combined experience, is dedicated to providing first-class customer service and support for the members. The outstanding performance of our friendly staff is reflected in the Club's pleasant, inviting atmosphere and high degree of member satisfaction.
For the past 30 years, our previous Clubhouse, a 20,000 square-foot facility, served as the social center for at least ten parties and other well-attended events each week, a restaurant and bar open six days a week, meeting rooms, exercise classes and special events. On January 31, 2008 the Clubhouse experienced major fire damage due to an electrical fire. Thankfully no one was injured; our golf and tennis activities resumed the next day, the pool and tennis complex has expanded creating an outdoor Marathon Bar, and social activities continue to occur each month. The major fire damage to our Clubhouse was a sad loss for our members, staff and community. We are excited to build a brand new clubhouse which will embrace the Club's rich social traditions as well as provide a home for many new memories. |
