Grant Gilbert is the membership director for Carolina Trace Country Club, which is designed by his favorite course golf course architect Mr. Robert Trent Jones, Senior. The first time he drove through the front gate at Carolina Trace he stated, "This is the most beautiful drive into a club I have ever seen." He fell in love with Robert Trent Jones golf courses when he passed his playing ability test at Palmetto Dunes in Hilton Head, South Carolina, which is one of his oceanfront designs. Grant stated, “When you look at Mr. Jones courses, many of them can look very intimidating; however, he has saved me with his sand traps more times than I can remember.” His courses are strategically designed, and those who learn to read them will come out victorious." Grant’s goal is to share this beautiful country club with others and help them further their passions through golf and the country club lifestyle. Mr. Jones said it best when he quoted, “The sun never sets on a Robert Trent Jones Golf Course.”
